Northern Woods Arts is a group dedicated to supporting the artists of the North Country in NH. Founded by Matt Wheeler, a hiker/photographer, in 2024 out of love for the arts and incredible respect for the artists behind the beauty, the organization is dedicated to promoting local artists. Creating events and always looking for new ways to promote the amazing art that comes out of the region has become a priority for the organization.
In our first year, we have put together what is sure to be an amazing event, The Northern Woods Arts Festival, which will me an annual event. Building off the success of that event, we’ll be looking to do pop-up galleries, small exhibits, and local showcases.
In the coming year, Northern Woods Arts is going to become a non-profit organization, and we’ll be looking to build a solid board of art loving and supporting Indvidual’s to help build and maintain the organization. So if you’re interested in being part of this, please reach out!
